Everton: Andy Burnham hits out at ‘unforgivable’ Premier League in brand new appeal rant

Everton: In a recent tirade, Andy Burnham criticizes the Premier League for being “unforgivable.”

With a new tirade about Everton’s points-deduction appeal, Andy Burnham has taken aim at the Premier League once more, claiming they are killing the team.

The Greater Manchester Mayor expressed his opinions on his X account on February 20 and questioned the Premier League’s ability to explain the ambiguity surrounding the circumstances at Goodison Park.

Burnham continued by saying that the points deductions and appeals process have destroyed this season, causing confusion and enveloping the team in disapproval.

“How can the Premier League justify what they are doing to Everton Football Club?” the writer asked on X. We have no idea what is going on as another week passes by. We are being killed by them.

“Given the uncertainty they have created, I feel as a season ticket holder that the Premier League has ruined this season for us and all clubs.” And when we ought to be enjoying the final great era of English football, they are enveloping Goodison in protest. Not pardonable.

The outcome of the Everton point deduction appeal is still pending.

It was first anticipated that the club would be informed of the outcome of their appeal before to the match against Crystal Palace. Then, that deadline was rescheduled for after the game. It’s been two days, and still no clarity.

The primary problem at hand is the Premier League’s lack of communication. Transparency would put an end to the demand for explanations and promote tolerance.

But as it is, there has been no communication. Everyone wants and expects answers, therefore this has infuriated neutrals as well as Evertonians.

This problem affects more than only Everton. Every club involved in the relegation struggle will be aware of the circumstances, understanding that any points gained or lost will probably determine who plays Premier League football the next season.

Simon Jordan has stated that the second accusation might be more serious in other Everton news.
