Everton will learn the verdict of their 10-point deduction appeal within the next 48 hours, sources have told Football Insider. The Merseyside club will be privately informed by the independent panel whether or not they have successfully regained any of their deducted points. A public announcement from the Premier League and the club’s official website is expected to follow soon after. If Everton are successful in their appeal and points are regained, they are expected to be restored to the Premier League table immediately. The Toffees were docked 10 points in November after being found guilty of breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules.
