Wasn’t because of Rangers’ – Chris Sutton fires fresh Ibrox jibe after win v St Johnstone
Chris Sutton, a former Celtic player, is not happy with Rangers’ return to the top of the Scottish Premiership after his team “unfortunately” defeated St Johnstone.

Since Clement moved to Ibrox, Glasgow’s fortunes have drastically changed, and the Belgian has turned Rangers from the struggling team under Michael Beale into the clear favorites to win the championship this year.
Rangers made smart recruitment choices in January to increase their chances of winning additional hardware before the season ends, and their most recent performance has demonstrated that they are more than capable of stringing together a successful run of play.
Sutton and other Celtic fans and commentators won’t like what they see happening at Ibrox right now, but it’s evident that people in Glasgow’s green neighborhood now consider the Light Blues to be a real threat.
It is unclear if the Gers will have enough to continue their run until the end of the season, and the race for the championship will most likely come down to the wire, but right now Clement’s team is in the lead.
