Michael Beale ‘sacked’ by Sunderland ALREADY as ex Rangers boss’ disaster goes from bad to worse
Beale appears to be paying the price in terms of his job, having lost six of his 12 games.
It is alleged that, after only being employed for two months, Michael Beale has already departed
Sunderland.
Just 11 weeks after being fired by Rangers, former QPR manager Beale assumed the helm of the Black
Cats, but he faced opposition right away from supporters who thought he was the wrong choice. He took
over for well-liked manager Tony Mowbray, who many believed should have had more time in charge.
Despite his early results, some supporters were asking for his resignation following their FA Cup defeat
against rivals Newcastle in January.
While there were some encouraging signs, Sunderland has dropped six of his 12 games as manager,
including recent back-to-back losses to Birmingham and Huddersfield. And now, a number of media
sources, like as Sky Sports and the Sunderland Echo, are claiming that he has already left the team
following the board’s decision to make a change. As a result, Beale is unemployed for the second time
this season, leaving Stadium of Light officials searching for their third permanent manager.
