My heart breaks’: Gerard Deulofeu now makes emotional claim after Everton loanee’s horror tackle today

Following today’s horrific tackle by the Everton loanee, Gerard Deulofeu now makes an emotional allegation.

Mason Holgate of Everton was sent off today, but luckily he was playing for Sheffield United, a team that is fighting for relegation.

It is one of the few wise decisions the team has made in recent memory, and it appears to be undermining another team that is also fighting for its life.

The 27-year-old has scored five goals in one of his two games for his loanee side and been sent off after only 13 minutes in the other.

Richard Keys and Andy Gray were among the most incensed pundits who swiftly condemned his horrific tackle, which struck Kaoru Mitoma in the inner of the thigh.

But now a surprising figure has surfaced to criticize the tackle as well.

What Gerard Deulofeu said about Mason Holgate

Except for the fact that he had a brief overlap with Holgate while he was at Everton, few would have predicted Gerard Deulofeu to weigh in on a dispute that seemed to have nothing to do with him.

The Spanish winger, who for a while had an incredible combination with Romelu Lukaku, is still quite popular around Goodison Park.

He represents a far better time in Merseyside history, although it has faded significantly in the last many years.

Now that he is witnessing it firsthand, he has turned to X to criticize the English central defender, writing: “This boy has been a teammate of mine, but I see this and my heart breaks.” We have to start approving this kind of activity in a model and proper way. INADMISSIBLE IS IT.

Mason Holgate could never play for Everton again

With only sporadic usage throughout the previous season and no appearances under Sean Dyche’s direction, Holgate is obviously very much out of favor with this club’s current administration.

Furthermore, nothing will have changed to improve that situation after his two miserable loan periods this season.

It appears that he is returning to Championship Southampton, where he was having trouble getting playing time, to play for Sheffield United.

Given that his contract expires this summer, Holgate may have left the team under difficult circumstances after playing his final game.

Even though Deulofeu is angry, it might be a good final stand for an Everton player if his terrible performances continue to torment a relegation competitor.
