Celtic squad revealed as Yang could provide fresh spark and Brendan Rodgers faces big left back call
This season, Kilmarnock has already defeated the Hoops twice, and they will be making their Parkhead
debut.
Although Celtic has won eight of their previous nine games, Brendan Rodgers was eager to highlight that
despite this, the champions are still seen negatively, dating back to a handful of losses in December.
The first of those was inflicted by Kilmarnock, and the Ayrshiremen are the guests at Parkhead for a
crucial Scottish Premiership match. Although there is no disputing the way Hearts responded to those
setbacks—they triumphed in Glasgow the week following their defeat at Rugby Park—many are left
wanting more from their performances.
Rodgers himself appears to be looking for that spark and it’s a question of whether he continues to tinker
or sticks with the same. For last weekend’s Scottish Cup trip to St Mirren he surprised many by playing
both on-loan Norwich City man Adam Idah and Kyogo in a new system which resulted in a comfortable
win.
