£22m Everton player now back training, Sean Dyche has not used him in the PL this year
Ahead of Everton’s Premier League matchup against Crystal Palace on Monday night, Sean Dyche has
been speaking with the media.
The goal for the Toffees is to win for the first time in 2024 and close the gap on Crystal Palace, who are
now leading by five points.
The Eagles are in disarray right now, with many wondering if Roy Hodgson will be in the dugout on
Monday night.
Alex Crook, chief football correspondent at talkSPORT, stated, “I think it is a very unsavoury situation if
Hodgson even has to front up to the media today and answer questions when everyone in the room
knows his time at Palace is coming to an end.”
It must be mentioned that, should he be required to take the bus to Everton on Monday for an extremely
important match, the circumstances are quite absurd.
Abdoulaye Doucouré, 31, is expected to make a comeback for Everton after missing several weeks due to
a hamstring injury. Ben Godfrey and Seamus Coleman are both eligible for Monday night’s match.
