Football Insider has been informed by a reliable source that money “won’t be an issue” for the Spurs over the off-season.

Since taking over as technical director in October 2023, Johan Lange has focused on acquiring Tottenham’s top young players.

That has already come to pass thanks to the Dane, who beat Barcelona to bring 18-year-old midfielder Lucas Bergvall to north London.

After Branthwaite’s Premier League breakthrough thus far in the 2023–24 season, Spurs have been heavily linked to him.

Football Insider reported on February 5th that Man United is in the lead to sign the Everton defender before the summer transfer market opens.

Tottenham will have the funds necessary to finalize Branthwaite’s potentially profitable contract.

The 21-year-old has been identified by United manager Erik ten Hag and his recruitment team as a long-term objective.

Still, rumors state that Tottenham has the funds to enter a potential Branthwaite race if they choose to pursue the race this summer.

The England Under-21 player has participated in 27 games this season across all competitions, making him a serious contender for a senior call-up.
