Rangers have had a spectacular turnaround in fortunes with the arrival of Belgian head coach Philippe

Clement,

and they were joint top of the Scottish Premiership earlier this week after a comfortable 3-1 success over

struggling Ross County.

A first-half brace from Cyriel Dessers, combined with an injury-time header from John Souttar,

clinched the victory and brought the Ibrox club level on points with Old Firm rivals Celtic,

who remain top of the Scottish Premiership based on goals scored.

However, if Rangers can reclaim the Scottish Premiership championship from the Hoops at the end of

the season,

it may be the final swansong for two of the club’s longest-serving players.

According to exclusive rumors, Kemar Roofe and Borna Barisic will be permitted to leave the club this

summer.

According to Pete O’Rourke, the Gers want to release Roofe this summer due to his chronic injury

difficulties.

When healthy, the former Leeds United player has done admirably for Rangers,

but he has struggled with injuries throughout his time in Glasgow.

Most recently, he has been out since December due to an injury sustained early in a game against St

Johnstone,

with no information on his comeback.

According to the article, Croatian left defender Barisic is also expected to leave Ibrox this summer,

since his contract expires in June. The defender joined the club from Osijek in 2018 for a reported £2.2

million and has since become a regular starter.

He has appeared in almost 200 games for the Gers,

winning the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup, and Scottish League Cup during his six-year tenure in

Glasgow.

However, for the first time in his Ibrox career,

Barisic has lost his position in the side due to Turkish full defender Ridvan Yilmaz’s promising form.

According to reports, Croatians would wantto take advantage of his free agent status,

as the midfielder was lately linked to AS Roma.
