Sheffield United are looking to the future once more and are among the clubs battling for young forward player, Adam Berry.
Berry is searching for a new team after leaving Manchester United. The gifted left-sided forward has played for Old
Trafford since he was a young lad, but he has now departed the team to pursue a fresh opportunity.
And a number of teams are eager to sign the young player, including Sheffield United, according to Football
Transfers.
Blackburn Rovers, Nottingham Forest, United, and Celtic are reportedly all interested in signing Berry. However,
Forest appears to have a slight advantage because Berry has previously been put on trial.
Although the 18-year-old was well-liked at Old Trafford, not many players at the squad have an easy time breaking
into the first team unless they are exceptionally gifted.
Adam Berry could have a choice to make
Bramall Lane has always been regarded as a fantastic place for young players to come play football. Children have
been offered opportunities over the years, and the academy has seen tremendous success.
Young players like Ryan One and Sam Curtis have recently committed to United over other teams, and players like
Femi Seriki and Will Osula have signed new contracts to stay with the team.
For Adam Berry, it could simply come down to who he feels will give him that chance of developing into a first-team
player quickly. At Manchester United, the youngster caught the eye with some good performances and moments in
the youth teams. Indeed, as an under-15, he scored from inside his own half. For the Blades, landing players like
Berry is important for the future of the club. United have already landed a former Man United player in the form of
Zach Giggs, who is now progressing nicely in the youth ranks. Berry, then, could well be tempted by the move to
South Yorkshire.
