Patrick Mahomes Ignores Bills Fan in a Viral Video of the Super Bowl Parade

Patrick Mahomes might harbor resentment toward Buffalo Bills supporters after they treated him rudely during their farewell game last month. He may have vented his feelings at the team’s Super Bowl parade. The quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, who had a contentious exchange with supporters following his team’s playoff victory over the Bills in January, was seen on camera shoving away a Bills supporter during the Chiefs’ victory parade on February 14. Bills supporters retaliated after seeing the video of Mahomes bullying the fan go viral.

Bills Fan Left Hanging

At Wednesday’s parade, Mahomes was a man of the people, shaking hands and saying hello to some of the hundreds of thousands of spectators along the route. However, the Chiefs quarterback instantly had second thoughts after being approached by a fan sporting a Josh Allen jersey. Mahomes was seen on camera reaching out to give the fan a high five before swiftly removing it. As Mahomes went down the path to welcome other Chiefs fans, the fan raised their arms.

Social media soon shared a video of Mahomes making fun of a Bills supporter. While some Bills fans were offended by the move, others laughed it off as a humorous jab.

Budding Feud Between Bills Fans and Patrick Mahomes

The Bills have already suffered greatly under Mahomes in recent years, as he has eliminated them from the postseason in three of the last four campaigns, including the team’s divisional-round loss in Buffalo this year. After the game, Bills supporters showed Mahomes some love by throwing snowballs at him while he was interacting with a Chiefs supporter on the sidelines. After the game, Mahomes ran off the field and through the tunnel to the locker room, where he was met by another hail of snowballs.

The playoff defeat had left Bills supporters hurt, and some of them remained resentful following a contentious incident during the team’s regular-season game. The Chiefs quarterback loudly lamented an offsides call against his team that negated what would have been the game-winning touchdown as he and Allen met on the field after the game.
