Everton star may need late fitness test-Medical professional as injury setback claims emerge
Dr Rajpal Brar reports that Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure might get a late fitness test before the match against Crystal Palace.
On Monday, February 19, the Toffees visit Palace at Goodison Park. The Mali international is questionable because of a thigh issue. The injury expert does not think that a delayed comeback indicates a setback in his recovery, but if he is sidelined for an extended period of time, it may indicate that anything is amiss behind the scenes. Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapy specialist, exclusively spoke to Goodison News about Doucoure.
Given that return timetable targets are ambiguous, it might not be wise to place too much emphasis on Doucoure’s postponed return.
I usually anticipate some variation based on the player’s real recovery progress.
He’s been absent for a lot longer, which could portend a setback.
“But that seems unlikely given that he seems to be in the running for the next game, so there may be a need for a late fitness test.”
Soon, Everton needs Doucoure back.
This season, Doucoure has performed admirably as Sean Dyche’s number ten, providing both a great offensive threat and strong defensive play.
In order to prevent the opposing midfielder from running play too smoothly and to force assaults to come from the wings rather than the center, he was frequently assigned the responsibility of closing the distance on him.
His goal-scoring comeback will also impress him; in 18 Premier League games this season, he has scored six goals.
In other Everton news, following a recent disagreement, Chris Sutton chastised a Toffees player and urged him to quiet speaking.
