‘Deal in place’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms move for ‘brilliant’ ex Crystal Palace and Everton baller.

The winger had an incredible tenure at Selhurst Park, making almost 150 games for Crystal Palace before moving on to Everton.

Yannick Bolasie, a former star of Crystal Palace and Premier League player, is close to signing a free agency contract with

Brazilian team Criciuma. The 34-year-old left Swansea last month at the conclusion of his short-term contract, leaving him without a club.

Despite playing only 300 minutes in the league this season, Bolasie has made 10 appearances in the Championship for the

team. Expert in transfers Fernando Romano has verified that a contract is ‘in place’ for the winger to finish the 5,000-mile journey to Brazil.

Romano posted the following on the social media site X on Wednesday night: “You are aware that Brazilian Criciuma has

reached an agreement to recruit Yannick Bolasie on a pre-contract basis.

Deal in place, awaiting verification of specifics, and, assuming everything goes according to plan, time to depart for Brazil the following week.”

Eder, an Italian national and Sampdoria legend, plays for the Brazilian team, which was promoted from Serie B’s second level

last year. Cláudio Tencati, a Brazilian, is in charge of the team.

Despite Bolasie’s sparse appearances at Swansea, the dynamic winger left Wales with high marks for his influence on

teammates and supporters. The Championship team attempted to keep the player longer as they try to avoid getting sucked into a relegation struggle.

Luke Williams, the head coach of Swansea, stated: “We were unable to come to an extension with Yannick. It’s very bad, since

we know how good of a player he is and he’s an amazing guy. However, transactions can get trickier, especially if you’ve had a career like Yannick’s.

“Man, Yannick has a lot of choices. I’m disappointed because I thought we could have created something beneficial for both the

club and him, but for some reason we were unable to pull it off. But let me tell you, that guy is amazing, and he gave Swansea his all when he was here. He had a fantastic energy on the training field.

I hope the best for him. I would prefer he stay with us, therefore I hope he doesn’t sign for someone and we play against them. However, I wish him luck.”

Bolasie started his career with Hillingdon Borough in 2006 and later played for Plymouth Argyle and Bristol City before joining Crystal Palace in 2012. The winger made 144 appearances for the Eagles, propelling the team reach the Premier League and creating many memorable moments for fans, including an 11-minute hat-trick against Sunderland in 2015.

Bolasie then joined Everton for £25 million in 2016, although he struggled to make an impression at Goodison Park due to a succession of injuries, leading to loan spells at Aston Villa, Anderlecht, Sporting Lisbon, and Middlesbrough.
