Carlos Corberan has hailed the “quality” of Celtic loan man Mikey Johnston after West Brom won 2-0 over Cardiff City at The Hawthorns.
With their victory over the Bluebirds in Tuesday’s [13 February] Championship match, the Baggies earned three more points.
In less than a minute, Johnston scored to give his new team a greater chance of promotion.
According to Corberan, “Mikey is a player that offers us a lot of possibilities” [13 February], the official club website. “Although he can play more as a playmaker, he is a winger who can play wider than he did today.
Since he’s a player with a strong finish, one of the main things we need of him is that he show up in the box.
That was the goal’s action, but overall, due of his high level of skill and comprehension of the game, he was much assisting the team in being patient and switching the offensive side.

Johnston appears to have been a wise acquisition for West Brom. He joined the Baggies during the January transfer window after leaving Celtic, and thus far, he has drawn attention.
With eight caps under his belt, the 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international has advanced through the academy system of his home club and has made 92 appearances, scoring 13 goals in that time.
But his career at Celtic Park has stagnated a bit lately, which is why he was granted permission to go this winter.
He has a platform to demonstrate his abilities in England thanks to West Brom, and it seems he is making progress.
The Baggies are currently playing well in preparation for their home game against Southampton on Friday, February 16, and they have set their sights on returning to the Premier League this season.
