Nicolas Raskin and Borna Barisic axed – Predicted Rangers XI v Ross County.
Philippe Clement could make numerous changes to Rangers’ starting lineup for their SPFL match against Ross County on Wednesday night.
The Bears defeated Ayr 2-0 in the Scottish Cup over the weekend, with the manager making several changes to his team in preparation for a demanding calendar and a title race.
However, with the team’s return to league activity, numerous positions are now open owing to injuries and general fitness, necessitating some decisions.
Rangers must remain defensively solid against Ross County.
One of the most striking aspects of Clement’s tenure thus far has been the team’s defensive performance, which is owed in part to the fact that Jack Butland has excelled and will remain in goal.
Ahead of him. Clement has relied on Leon Balogun and Ridvan Yilmaz on the left in recent times, with the Nigerian returning
from a facial injury. Borna Barisic has also been dropped, but his future remains uncertain.
The manager has choices in midfield after Tom Lawrence was rested for the weekend meeting, although Ryan Jack is still out due to a personal fitness plan.
That should see Jack Lundstram come back into the team ahead of him, but Mohammed Diomande was impressive in his full debut and should keep his place in the side ahead of Nicolas Raskin.
Rangers attack is on fire
Rabbi Matondo and Todd Cantwell have been in excellent form and should hold their spots on the left and number ten, respectively, but the right wing berth is available for suggestions.
Ross McCausland and Scott Wright have lately started, but Oscar Cortes was brilliant on his debut and scored an assist, so he will likely start.
Up forward, Cyriel Dessers and Fabio Silva have been vying for a starting berth, but the Portuguese forward has two goals in his last two games and should earn the nod.
