Rangers v Hibernian cup draw is nothing to worry about – Heart and Hand

Heart and Hand: There’s no need to worry about the Rangers vs. Hibernian Cup draw.

We should have put this match to rest sooner after Rangers defeated Ayr United, and Philippe Clement’s reward was another journey to Easter Road to take on Hibernian.

Fielding a team with seven changes in front of a crowded Ibrox, the Gers manager was pleased with his team’s ability to rotate and yet accomplish the task at hand.

Rangers were never going to have a “easy” draw, and Hibernian is perhaps one of the more favorable ones, since only Morton is playing for the lower leagues.

Reaction to Rangers vs. Hibernian Cup draw

We have won both of our previous meetings with Nick Montgomery’s team, 4-0 and 3-0, but the Hibs manager has improved since January because of their affiliation with Bournemouth.

Crucial players like Martin Boyle have also returned from the Asia Cup, according to him.

They were unfortunate not to win the match against Celtic, but cup ties can go any way as we all know.

A refereeing decision, a deflection or a screamer from 30-yards, all of which being all it takes to secure passage to the next round – it’s not always the best team that wins.

In response to a worried fan on X, David Edgar of Heart and Hand was quick to reassure everyone that Easter Road has been a happy hunting ground lately.

It would be difficult to travel to a cup tie at venues like Pittodrie, Tynecastle, Rugby Park, or even the Toni Macaroni, and climbing Arthur’s Seat won’t be any simpler.

There is a belief, though, that Philippe Clement’s Rangers are capable of defeating any team. Thus, in order for Clement to add the Scottish Cup to the Viaplay Cup that he has already won this season, Hibernian must lose.

Though conspiracy theorists might disagree, we are unable to consistently play home games against lower league teams.
