Legitimate’ questions??Keith Jackson asked after what Rangers are finally doing

After Rangers has been putting up a “decent fight” in the Scottish Premiership title race, Keith Jackson has questioned the Celtic team’s tenacity.

The reporter added that the Hoops’ performances had not been consistent after Brendan Rodgers expressed his “sense of bewilderment” after his team’s 2-0 Scottish Cup victory over St Mirren on Sunday, February 11, in an article published on the Daily Record website on Monday, February 12.Jackson went on to say that the Northern Irishman now needs his team to “take a breath” and get ready for things to get “greatly more tense” as the season draws to a close.

After the victory, Rodgers expressed confusion, saying, “It seems like too much attention is being paid to his team’s recent form slump, even though they have won eight and drawn their last nine games,” Jackson added. However, he will secretly know that, despite the steady outcomes, the performance levels have been anything but.

“Therefore, now that Rangers are putting up a respectable fight from the other side of the city, valid concerns about Celtic’s tenacity are being raised.

“As the season heats up toward the finish line, Rodgers needs his players to take a deep breath and get ready for things to get much more tense than they already are.”

Rangers is chasing Celtic for the SPL championship closely.
On Sunday, Celtic defeated St Mirren once more, but they should be winning that match every time, so their confidence won’t be greatly increased.

Even though the Hoops are currently leading the SPL, their performances have clearly fallen far short of what their supporters had anticipated.

They are presently leading the table thanks to their two Old Firm victory over Rangers, with Philippe Clement’s team playing fantastically ever since he moved to Ibrox.

The 30 December loss to Parkhead Club is the only blemish on the Belgian’s record, and he will be happy with how his team has bounced back in the last two weeks.

When the season nears its conclusion, the competition for the championship is expected to intensify even more, and the Gers plan to keep applying pressure to their Glasgow rivals until the very last ball is kicked.

In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton has refuted claims that the team’s top player is “excellent.”
