Recently, Michael Beale has been thanking the supporters and highlighting how much our encouragement motivates the boys to excel on the pitch.
HIGHS ARE REAL HIGHS
“When you watch that second half, the highs are really highs.” If I’m being really honest, there were some lower low points today! Which team will we play as? The three goals today were incredible, as was the atmosphere in the stadium and the cheers my family and I received, but in the 79th minute, they did something amazing for the family of another player, and that’s what our club is all about.
SUPPORT REALLY HELPS THE PLAYERS
“These young players have the fans’ full support as they give it their all to please them. Right now, that’s where we want it to be. Since our team is so young, I don’t think even the fans realise how much support from the crowd helps them.”
WHAT A PLACE
“In that 10 or 15 minute period today when we’re scoring goals and attacking and the crowd is up, what a place to play football.”
THINGS TAKE TIME
“Everything in a new relationship takes time. We didn’t do well in the emotionally charged games, and there was a lot of emotion in the air. We must accept that, accept the compliments when they are due, and accept the criticism when it isn’t so favourable.”
EARLY DAYS
It’s early in the process. We have everything to prove—me, the players, our team, and our club—and it’s my tenth game. It should be thrilling since we have everything to prove in the next three months.”
