Rangers defender is likely to miss the game against Ross County as well due to a facial injury

Doctor discusses whether Ross County will see Leon Balogun return.

Dr Rajpal Brar reports that Rangers defender Leon Balogun is also expected to miss the match against Ross County because of a face injury.

According to the injury specialist, following the team’s victory over Livingston on February 3, the club made sure he completed the concussion protocol.

He is anticipated to be absent from Wednesday, February 14th’s match against County, having missed the matches against Aberdeen and Ayr United.

Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his circumstances. He said:

“The club will implement a concussion protocol that will evaluate symptoms before progressively resuming activities.”

The course of treatment and timetable for his facial fracture are contingent upon the extent of the fracture, the need for surgery, and the extent of that procedure.

“I think he’ll be out for a week or two because he needs to get in a few training sessions before he returns.”

Is a Rangers comeback anticipated soon?

On Friday, February 9th, Clement disclosed that the defender had visited a specialist in regards to his ailment.

It is acknowledged that he will always have a face mask on when he returns to action.

The 35-year-old has appeared in 11 league games for the Ibrox team this season, but it’s unclear if he’ll be back for the following campaign.

It’s possible that in the summer, the Nigerian international will become unnecessary if the Gers acquire another center defender.
