DJ Williams took an assistant quarterbacks coaching position with the Atlanta Falcons, as reported by Rod Walker of Nola.com

on Friday. Williams has been an offensive assistant for the team for five seasons.

receivers coach Kodi Burns, quarterbacks coach Ronald Curry, and offensive line coach Doug Marrone.

Klint Kubiak, the new offensive coordinator, is the sole replacement named thus far.

Williams is from Louisiana and attended Grambling State University, where he played quarterback. His father, Doug Williams,

was an NFL quarterback for more than ten years.

Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis hinted at offensive coaching changes to address some of the organization’s cultural

difficulties, and he is now keeping his word. Clancy Barone, the tight ends coach, is the only offensive positional coach who will

continue until 2023.
