He’s an imitation’ – Simon Jordan takes dig at manager, delivers Rangers & Celtic title verdict

Simon Jordan drops Rangers verdict, admission made on Celtic and Brendan Rodgers.

Simon Jordan has chimed in on the title competition between Rangers and Celtic, as well as whether Brendan Rodgers can equal Philippe Clement.

While he has been blown away by the Gers management, he has been thoroughly disappointed by the Celtic boss.

Despite this, he believes the Hoops will retain their title, despite Gers strengthening in January and being in terrific form right now.

According to the Daily Record, he stated on talkSPORT: “We saw with Michael Beale, we had a year of it, and he wasn’t

capable.” Not at this point in his career. This other man [Clement], who hasn’t changed much in terms of people, has now

converted the proverbial water into a little wine. “That is proper management.”

“I don’t think Brendan Rodgers is doing it. I believe he is an imitation of himself. I believe the balance of probability still favors Celtic, but they are in a war currently.

Rangers need to capitalise on Celtic and Rodgers’ inconsistency

Jordan’s appraisal of the title battle and comparison of Clement and Rodgers ignores critical considerations.

Jordan likes the Belgian’s managerial impact at Ibrox, but criticises Rodgers’ performance at Celtic Park.

Despite Rodgers’ lengthier time at Celtic, Gers have demonstrated greater consistency and dominance this season under Clement.

The assumption that Celtic are still favorites to retain the title defies the current league standings and results, which show the Ibrox outfit playing better.

Rangers must maintain their current momentum and work hard behind the scenes if they are to capitalise on Celtic’s unreliability and win the title.

Additionally, effective team rotation and tactical agility can ensure season-long success.

Gers must also maintain a great defensive record while being clinical in front of the net.

Before Celtic’s previous game, both teams were level on points with only goal difference separating them, which is unquestionably a good situation for Clement.
