BBC Sportscene pundit reveals what he personally experienced at Ibrox in Rangers win v Aberdeen
Kenny Miller said he was impressed by the “bouncing” atmosphere at Ibrox when Rangers defeated Aberdeen 2-1 on Tuesday (6 February).
Rangers maintained their lead in the Scottish Premiership by defeating the Dons 2-1, with to goals from Rabbi Matondo and Todd Cantwell.
Miovski equalised before Cantwell scored his 20th goal of the season, sprinting on to a long pass and wonderfully lifting the ball over Jack Butland under pressure from Conor Goldson.
Miller, who was at Ibrox for the game on commentary, told BBC Sportscene (7 February, 1hr:12mins) that he’s impressed by Philippe Clement’s “synergy” between the players and spectators at Ibrox.
He was quoted as saying: “I thought Rangers were very very good and inside Ibrox, there was a really really good feel, the place
was bouncing, I think Clement’s talked a lot about the synergy between the fans and the players, it seems to be back and after the game, it was absolutely rocking.”

Rangers were a club in need of direction and a feel-good element before Clement arrived, and the Belgian has quickly supplied those remedies with great flair since signing.
In his 23 games as Rangers manager, Clement has 19 victories and only one loss, but not only have results improved at Ibrox, but so has the relationship between the players and the supporters.
That was one of the first jobs the Belgian sought to complete when he arrived, and since then, Ibrox has transformed into a loud and intimidating atmosphere, thanks to the fans’ renewed belief and camaraderie.
The Light Blues faithful believe in the team again, which is why teams will continue to come to Ibrox and struggle because of the environment created by the supporters.
Clement’s efforts have led to significant improvements in the Rangers’ playing style, including increased energy and intensity in each game.
With 19 wins in 23 games, the Light Blues are now a significant danger, more so than they have been during Steven Gerrard’s stay, and major credit must be given to Clement’s transformation of the club.
