According to Football Insider, Arsenal is keen to capture midfielder Amadou Onana from Everton and may compete with Newcastle United for his services next summer.
The Magpies are preparing an offer for the combative midfielder, according to a recent report from Football Insider, following a thorough scouting report on his attributes.
It’s commonly believed that Arsenal, who wants to keep revitalizing their midfield, is also considering Onana.
According to sources close to Football Insider, Mikel Arteta and his recruitment team are keeping an eye on a number of prospects in front of the summer transfer window, including the midfielder who earns £100,000 per week.
As of this however, Everton is mired in the relegation zone, and if the Toffees are demoted this season, Onana‘s value is thought to decline dramatically.
Onana, who is said to be worth £50 million, has a deal with Goodison Park that expires in June 2027.

Last Sunday at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal defeated Liverpool with a brilliant display. Even while they are still riding high after winning, they are still two points behind the Reds, tied for second place with Manchester City, and only three points ahead of fourth-placed Aston Villa.
The race for the title is far from over, and Arsenal will undoubtedly need to bolster their team even more if they hope to contend with teams like Man City and Liverpool in the years to come.
Declan Rice was a club record deal last summer, and the North London team already strengthened their midfield ranks. But, they intend to add another midfielder to their roster during the upcoming summer transfer window in an effort to further bolster their group.
After yet another season marred by injuries, Ghanaian international Thomas Partey is anticipated to depart the Emirates this summer. There will need to be a replacement, and Onana seems to be on the list.
Another ideal signing would be Onana, a midfielder who has already accrued a great deal of Premier League experience and who can play holding midfield for Arsenal like Vieira.
