“They hardly invest” – Everton sent another 777 warning as icon hits out at delayed wages.
Belgian icon Philippe Albert has issued a warning to Everton about 777 Partners, condemning their administration of Standard Liege.
The former player turned commentator has spoken with Gazet van Antwerpen about the situation at Standard, which is now
fighting relegation. The Belgian giants sit 11th in the 16-team Jupiler Pro League, with only one point separating them from 13th place Charleroi.
It is a serious scenario for the Belgian giants, who have won the league 14 times, the Belgian Cup eight times, and finished second in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1981-1982.
Much of the blame has been placed on 777 Partners, who acquired the club in March 2022 and have been plagued by issues since.

Newcastle after a loan spell in Belgium and attacking every part of the club afterwards.
That should serve as yet another warning sign for Everton, whose Farhad Moshiri has agreed to sell to the American group but has yet to have it approved by the Premier League.
Albert has been sending out additional warning signals today, condemning 777 Partners and everything that is going on in Liege.
“Football in Wallonia is in turmoil. He stated that the outcomes of recent seasons show this is unavoidable.
“Charleroi has been running flat for the past year and a half. Ronny Deila left Standard because he knew he couldn’t offer a miracle for two years.
“The concerns are primarily financial in nature. Charleroi had to trade Nkuba to Genk this winter.
Qatari investments in Eupen have been reduced in recent years. Or take Standard since it was acquired by 777 Partners.
How many clubs do they have in their universe? Five?
“Well, Standard must be the only club in which they rarely invest. Players were already paid two months late, with each
receiving their monthly salary after waiting twenty days. How do you want to get the most from your employees?
“That is a problem in any company, not just football.
“Don’t you see this with Textor, the owner of RWDM and a few other clubs? Managing a single club is difficult enough, let alone
