Rangers New Boy Lifts Lid On Move After Telling Agent To Make It Happen

Mohamed Diomande, a recent acquisition to the Rangers, said he was thrilled about the chance to play for the Scottish powerhouse and instructed his agency to finalize the deal. He had heard about the Gers since he was a young child.

Against opposition from other clubs, the Glasgow giants were able to sign the youthful midfield player on loan from Danish side Nordsjaelland near the end of January.

In his first interview with the Rangers’ official website, the 22-year-old said that he had heard the word Rangers since he was a young child, therefore it was not unfamiliar to him.

 

He so immediately instructed his agent to make it happen as soon as he learned about the Rangers’ interest.

“I was like, wow, I know it’s a big club and I’ve heard of it since I was a little kid,” Diomande remarked when he first learned that Rangers were interested.

“I told my agent that we must move forward with it as I’ve heard great things about the club.”

Diomande wants to eventually assist the Rangers win something now that he’s a member of the squad.

“I want to contribute and win some things as a football player because it’s a really ambitious club.”

Diomande’s contract with the Gers includes an obligatory buyout option, and he will ink a four-year deal this summer.
