Neil Warnock in Rangers ball boy dig as Aberdeen boss quips: ‘Who teaches them at Ibrox?’
The fact that Neil Warnock was clearly enjoying his first Scottish football match was evident on Tuesday night, when his Aberdeen team lost 2-1 to Rangers.
The newly appointed Dons manager faced an extremely difficult match against a Rangers team that, under Philippe Clement, had only lost one game in 23 across all competitions. Although the final score did not go in his favor, Granite City gave Rangers a good game and had a chance to tie the score again.
Following reports that Bojan Miovski would be leaving Aberdeen during the winter transfer window, Warnock expressed his happiness that Aberdeen had managed to hold onto the Macedonian for his own benefit. However, he then cheekily accused Rangers of teaching their BALLBOYS to waste time by having the Pittodrie team chase the game. Miovski scored his 20th goal in all competitions on a chilly night in Glasgow.
