Sean McAllister, an Everton loan player, has disclosed that Duncan Ferguson, the manager of Inverness, wants him to put in a lot of work in order to have an impact on games.

Following the 21-year-old midfielder’s impressive displays for Everton’s development team, former player Ferguson of the Toffees made the decision to send him on loan to Inverness for the remainder of the season in January.

 

Additionally, Ferguson gave McAllister his Inverness debut during the weekend’s Scottish Championship matchup with Queens Park.

McAllister acknowledged that Ferguson is an icon at Everton and that he has given himself a tremendous opportunity to learn from him.

 

The youth also disclosed that Ferguson expects him to put in a lot of effort to create opportunities and score goals for Inverness.

The Press & Journal quoted McCarthy as stating, “The gaffer is an Everton legend and the chance to play under him is great.”

The Scottish Cup match between Inverness and Hibernian is scheduled for this coming weekend, and McAllister will be looking to impress Ferguson in the practice setting in order to get a start on Saturday.
