Ryan Jack will miss Aberdeen match as Leon Balogun of the Rangers undergoes surgery.
Leon Balogun is anxious about whether his injury from the Rangers’ victory over Livingston requires surgery. The center defender suffered a facial injury midway through the first half of the Ibrox match, and it’s possible that he cracked a bone in his face. It was anticipated that they may use his protective mask to go through the next matches, as he has in the past, but Philippe Clement has disclosed that he would consult with a physician to see whether surgery is required.
Ryan Jack, meanwhile, will not be present at Aberdeen’s meeting with Neil Warnock tomorrow night. Due to his history of injuries, the manager stated that it would be unreasonable to ask the midfield player to play again three days later. As a result, the midfielder was unable to play against his old team.
When asked for an update on injuries, Clement stated: “Ryan Jack won’t be playing tomorrow; given his history of injuries, it makes sense to avoid putting him at risk for two games in a short amount of time while we work on his recovery.
