Players who have led us in goals scored during a Premier League season: 10 or more

When Richarlison scored his ninth and tenth goals in the league this season against Everton on Saturday, he became the most recent player to record 10+ goals for us in a Premier League season.

The forward, who joined us in the summer of 2022 from the Toffees, has been playing fantastically for us ever since having groin surgery in November. In his last eight league games, he has scored nine goals.

And he scored both goals in our 2-2 draw at his old home of Goodison Park on Saturday. He achieved this feat for the first time in a single top flight campaign with two outstanding finishes. He accomplished this feat for Everton on three occasions, with his best return off 13 occurring in both 2018/19 and 2019/20.

He is now the second Brazilian player in history to score ten or more goals for us in a Premier League season, following Lucas Moura’s return of ten in 2018–19. He is also the 21st player in our history to accomplish so.
