Club Waiting For Rangers’ Response To Offer For Gers Star.
According to reports in Turkey, Galatasaray is awaiting a reaction from Rangers over their bid for Gers full-back Ridvan Yilmaz.
This month, Galatasaray lost Sacha Boey to Bayern Munich; in his place, Nottingham Forest’s Serge Aurier was signed.
They are also concentrating on the left-back position, where several candidates are being considered.
The Turkish team has long admired Rangers left-back Yilmaz and is currently working to finalize a deal for him.
The Scottish behemoths have not yet responded to Galatasaray’s offer for Yilmaz, though.
Luca Pellegrini of Juventus, Nicolas Tagliafico of Lyon, and Sergio Gomez of Manchester City are the other candidates under
consideration.
It is currently unclear if the Turkish behemoths will be able to reach an agreement before Friday’s deadline by getting a response
from Rangers in time. According to Turkish daily Hurriyet, they are presently considering a loan move for the 22-year-old for a fee
of €500,000, with an option to buy for a charge of €3 million at the end of the season.
