Talking about the Bruins encounter before the All-Star game, David Pastrnak

On Saturday night, David Pastrnak faced up against Team Matthews and head coach Jim Montgomery of the Boston Bruins in the All-Star game as a representative of Team McDavid. Following his semifinal victory over Bruins teammate Jeremy Swayman, the star forward faced his head coach in a match for a share of a million dollars. Montgomery seized the chance to trash criticize his gifted Bruins scorer before to the game.

Pastrnak told reporters, “It was fun,” according to footage from the Bruins squad. Before the game, we happened to run into each other in the corridor. I had my head down as I went. Clearly, Monty had to speak up and couldn’t help himself. It was enjoyable. Fortunately, one of us would prevail. Well done, sir.

In the opening frame, Pastrnak scored, but Team Matthews and Montgomery withstood the pressure to win the three-on-three contest 7–4. For the second time in as many seasons as Montgomery has been the head coach of the Boston Bruins, Montgomery won an All-Star game. The Bruins play the Calgary Flames at TD Garden on Tuesday after leaving the All-Star festivities in Toronto. Like he did with the All-Stars in Toronto, Montgomery hopes to guide the Bruins to victory in the coming months.
