Brendan Rodgers’ team loses by two points as the board’s pregame message became louder after the game.
The Celtic board’s banner said, “Celtic board-on your head be it.”
That was the annoying notice that appeared once more prior to the game and reappeared after it. Rangers and Celtic are now separated by six points, but Celtic still has two games remaining. The banner was due to the team’s inaction in January transfers, with just Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn joining. That raised red flags before this game and even more so after.
At Pittodrie, Celtic dropped two points. Bojan Miovski had put managerless Aberdeen ahead, so they had to catch up. Ironically, it required Kuhn, the recent addition, to come off the bench in order to save a point for the league leaders. Aberdeen arrived for their first match since the dismissal of Barry Robson. They were having difficulty in the Premiership due to the challenges of juggling domestic and European games.
They were in the bottom six going into the game, and they were somehow hoping to hold onto third place. Barry Robson lost his job on Wednesday due to that sequence of results, and Aberdeen is now searching for their third manager in as many years.
After being placed in charge, Peter Leven received a strong response from the opposition. His strategies were bang on, as they were able to take home a just portion of the rewards.
Although Celtic came the closest, Aberdeen was firing in the first half. Although Luis Palma had the ball in the net, VAR disregarded it. Paulo Bernardo and Luis Palma also struck the woodwork.
Five minutes after the interval, Aberdeen took the lead. After Dante Polvara emerged victorious, he tracked down Miovski, who dashed through Mail Nawrocki and slid past Joe Hart.
Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Celtic, made three substitutions from his bench. Among them were Idah and Kuhn, and together they made it possible for the winger to equalize.

Yes, was the response. From the outset to the last whistle, the players were game. Under Robson, they had given such performances, but the secret had been to remain consistent. They had no self-pitying feelings at all. Leven performed admirably and chose a formation that maximized each player’s potential. The future manager will see that he has a foundation upon which to develop.
Nawrocki—a fortunate boy?
The Polish defender took out Miovski while he had a booking. The Celtic defender was fortunate that a second yellow card wasn’t given despite a foul being called. Miovski’s booking for dissent was insult to injury.
Initial thoughts about Adam Idah
The large striker grabbed an assist after coming off the bench. He appears to be a unique addition to the Celtic backline because of his size and strength. Early indications point to him having a chance to succeed in Scotland.
