John Hartson shares exciting Celtic transfer prediction ahead of deadline day

After thirty days of the transfer market, Celtic have only made one addition, and it’s safe to say that the supporters are getting a little impatient

Since Brendan Rodgers stated that he was hoping to add quality (I can’t wait till the day I can stop writing this), Celtic supporters have expected that this transfer window will be very busy.

However, the club has not yet made any announcements, and many people are beginning to think that Celtic won’t bring in any more players before tomorrow night’s deadline.

Not according to John Hartson. The former Celtics hero is certain that the team is making an effort to bring in fresh talent, and Hartson thinks Rodgers will eventually acquire the players he desires.

“I think over the next two days, I think they’ll bring in some quality,” Hartson said [on The Go Radio Football Show]. “Really, this is just my opinion.”

And Brendan Rodgers will finally have the quality he has been missing all season.

“I feel that way because football is a big game and a lot can happen in 48 hours.”

Who knows exactly what that quality will be? Adam Idah, 22, of Norwich City, appears to have been given the go-ahead for Celtic to recruit him; in fact, he sounds more like a project signing.

A player with a track record of winning trophies, being successful, and having big-game experience is what the fans are searching for. With all due respect, that player is not an English second-tier player who hasn’t taken home a big award.

But as Hartson points out, football is a violent sport. All the Celtics supporters can do is wish that everything had occurred a little bit quicker than it has.
