Aberdeen in turmoil ahead of Celtic’s trip to Pittodrie

After Aberdeen‘s 1-1 draw with Dundee at home this evening, they were jeered off the field. Barry Robson’s team put up a dismal show for the Reds who braved the weather, giving up further points. At full time, a frustrated Pittodrie responded to yet another disappointing outcome by chanting, “We want Robson Out,” directed at the former Celtic midfield player. After only a year in the position, the manager is under a great deal of strain.

Bojan Miovski’s first half penalty was cancelled out by Les Ashcroft’s second half header, which leaves the Dons in 8th position. The pressure has been mounting on Aberdeen this season after the failed to build upon impressive European displays with results domestically.

The Scottish Champions hope to punish the Dons even more this weekend when they visit the North East. The entire stadium did not cheer for Brendan Rodgers’ team following their victory over Ross County. In the last days of the transfer window before it closes, Celtic will be hoping to bring in additional players.
