John Hartson shares exciting Celtic transfer prediction ahead of deadline day.
Celtic have only made one addition after thirty days of the transfer window, and it is fair to say that fans are frustrated.
Celtic fans anticipated a busy transfer window after Brendan Rodgers expressed his desire to bring in quality players.
As yet though, there has been nothing by the club and many are starting to believe that Celtic will not add any other new faces before the deadline tomorrow night.
Not so, claims John Hartson. The former Celtic great is certain that the club is working to bring in new players, and Hartson believes Rodgers will get the players he wants.
Hartson stated on [The Go Radio Football Show]: “I feel, and this is just my opinion, but I believe they will bring in some talent over the next two days.
“And that will be the quality that Brendan Rodgers has been seeking all season.
“That’s how I feel because it’s a big 48 hours and a lot can happen in football.”
It’s unclear what that quality will be. Celtic’s purchase of Adam Idah from Norwich City appears to be a project rather than a permanent move.
Fans want a player with a demonstrated track record of winning trophies, being successful, and having big game experience. With all due respect, a player from the English second division who has yet to win a significant honour is not that player.
However, as Hartson notes, a lot can happen in football. Celtic fans will just wish everything occurred a little faster than it is now.
