Defensor Leo Hjelde has officially joined Sunderland from Leeds United. Since the first day of the season, the 20-year-old has not made an appearance for Leeds in the Championship.
“I’m happy to be here and I appreciate the opportunity,” he remarked. After talking to my parents and seeing the magnitude and support of the club, I realized it was a move I had to make.
I’m a left back or center back that enjoys moving up and down the field while playing the ball. I’ve previously played for some large teams, which has helped me grow both as a player and a person, but I’m now prepared to advance and get to the next level.
