Chris Sutton offers immediate Adam Idah Celtic transfer response as Norwich striker given Oh comparison

Following Adam Idah’s transfer to Celtic, Chris Sutton responded right away, labelling the player as a “developmental” addition. When word of the Norwich hitman’s discussions with the Parkhead club leaked this evening, the former hoops great was not overly impressed. Idah was pursued on loan by Hellas Verona, but after the Celtics made an approach, the Irish international pushed for a transfer to Glasgow.

Despite his potential, Sutton feels that Oh, their current backup goalkeeper, is still superior to him. He has only scored eight goals in all competitions this season out of 37. “To be honest, I’m not sure if this is an improvement over Oh,” Sutton said to his social media fans.

“Idah needs to get away from Norwich and has potential but has had potential for years but he’s 100 percent in the development category and a long way from the finished article.”
