Todd Cantwell sends message as Rangers exit news confirmed at Ibrox.
Todd Cantwell, a Rangers player, sent a message to Steven Davis when the latter announced his retirement from football.
According to the official Rangers website (January 25), the 39-year-old has opted to retire after two periods at Ibrox.
The midfield ace won four league titles with the Scottish giants, as well as three Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup victories.
Davis received compliments from many players, including current Gers ace Cantwell, who posted on Instagram, “Legend Davo, wish you a well-earned rest and time with your family!”
Stellar career
Davis will be sadly missed at Ibrox, both on and off the pitch, since he also served in the dugout throughout his stay at the club.

Davis will be sorely missed at Ibrox, both on and off the pitch, with the player having also taken to the dugout during his time at the club.
When the Gers needed an interim boss following the dismissal of Michael Beale, the Northern Ireland man was called into action, serving with distinction before the arrival of Philippe Clement.
The Belgian will be incredibly grateful for that brief but significant stay, which allowed the players to continue training hard until the new manager arrived at Ibrox.
However, Clement will miss Davis’ services, as he deserves to rest and spend time with his family after retiring from the game.
The midfielder played over 350 games for the Gers, as well as over 200 for Southampton and over 100 for Aston Villa.
Davis previously played for Fulham, and all of his prior clubs are grateful for his time there.
