The 20-year-old will rejoin Leeds United’s team today, according to Daniel Farke.

Daniel Farke gave conflicting updates regarding injuries prior to Leeds United’s match this afternoon against Plymouth Argyle.

Though none of their injuries are too significant, Farke revealed that Dan James and Archie Gray will miss the victory over Norwich City in midweek. Pascal Struijk is still not available.

After limping off in extra time on Wednesday, Gray might resume full training as early as next week, while James is probably going to be back for Leeds’ upcoming home league game against Rotherham United.

Before today’s FA Cup encounter, there is some positive news, though, as Wilfried Gnonto is back in the running after missing the previous two games because of a hip flexor issue.

Gnonto has been back in full training for a few days now, and Farke announced that he will be returning to the squad during his pre-match press conference yesterday afternoon.

Gnonto returns to Leeds squad

Willy has resumed his training. Alright. trained very hard yesterday. worked out hard on Wednesday as well. accessible for this particular game.

Gnonto might start the game right away for Farke, who is looking to rotate his team a little after a hectic league week that included back-to-back home victories.

Given that James is gone and that Crysencio Summerville might be eligible for a rest, Gnonto and Jaidon Anthony may start the competition for the first time since the last round.

Gnonto will be playing for Leeds for the first time since it was announced that he will shortly be extending his contract at Elland Road, which should give him more confidence.

Even though Gnonto hasn’t yet reached his peak this season, James’ injury and probable absence from the next two games present an excellent opportunity for Gnonto to establish himself as a regular.
