Rangers confirmed starting XI v St Mirren: 4 changes with Ridvan Yilmaz call made amid transfer links

Rangers visit St Mirren this morning in a bid to cut the margin over Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic to just two points, or four points after two hours at the front.

After defeating Hibs 3-0 at Easter Road in the middle of the week, Philippe Clement’s team travels to Renfrewshire with one game remaining and five points behind the Hoops.

Saints have been struggling for form of late, but progression in the Scottish Cup last weekend will have given Stephen Robinson’s men cause for optimism ahead of facing the Light Blues at the SMiSA Stadium.

From the starting lineup that thrashed the Hibees in Edinburgh on Wednesday night, Clement has made FOUR changes. In addition to Cyriel Dessers, Scott Wright, and Dujon Sterling, Connor Goldson makes his comeback from suspension. Fabio Silva, Ross McCausland, Rabbi Matondo, and Leon Balogun all take a seat on the bench.

While Borna Barisic replaces Ridvan Yilmaz at left back, long-term absences Abdallah Sima, Kieran Dowell, Danilo, and Kemar Roofe stay on the sidelines. Here are your official starting lineups for the Scottish Premiership match in Paisley this afternoon.
