Galatasaray manager in phone call with Ridvan Yilmaz, Rangers left-back now wants Ibrox loan exit as option-to-buy decision made.
On Friday, January 26, the Turkish newspaper said on its website that the 22-year-old left-back’s discussions for a temporary return to Istanbul with the Super Lig club’s manager were “positive.”
Although the Turkish international seems to be seeking for a way out of Ibrox this month, it was noted that he does not want an option-to-buy provision to be included in the agreement.
If this latest report is to be believed that Yilmaz has already held talks with Buruk, then that is completely out of order given that no agreement has been reached with Rangers. It’s not right from the player’s perspective as it shows a lack of respect to his employer, but there’s also no professionalism whatsoever being shown by Galatasaray.
The defender must be paid by the Gers in order for him to be permitted to leave Ibrox during this transfer window, as they have stated. The club should not even be considering a straight loan deal, since he has earned a spot in Philippe Clement’s starting lineup in recent weeks and has a contract that runs until 2027.
He is a player for the Light Blues, and he shouldn’t be permitted to leave until it is in the best interests of the team. The situation is probably going to last until the deadline, thus the team needs to be firm.
