Ford Final Five Facts: Bruins Lose 3-2 To Hurricanes
The Bruins’ five-game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday night at TD Garden when they were defeated 3-2 by the Carolina Hurricanes.
Carolina shut down the Bruins’ offence in the first two periods, jumping out to a two-goal lead. Brad Marchand scored twice to give the Bruins a chance in the third, but it was insufficient.
With less than two and a half minutes left, Jordan Matinook beat Linus Ullmark to score the eventual game-winning goal.
