Scott Wright sends Strong message Rangers to exit-linked Rangers player after what happened v Hibs Ibrox News

Scott Wright sends ‘let’s go’ message to Ridvan Yilmaz after what happened in Rangers win v Hibernian

Following his goal against Hibernian, Scott Wright texted his Rangers teammate Rivdan Yilmaz in three simple words.

On Wednesday, January 24, the Gers overcame Nick Montgomery’s team 3-0 at Easter Road thanks to an early goal from the left-back.

Wright came off the bench in the 70th minute of the Scottish Premiership match, with Yilmaz playing the full 90 minutes.

Following the victory, Yilmaz shared on social media, writing, “Another 3 points, another win with a perfect team performance.” I’m incredibly happy and content to be here.

His Rangers teammate Wright reposted the post on his own story, writing the message “Let’s go bro!!” to the left-back.

Staying put?

Both Wright and Yilmaz have been linked with Ibrox exits in recent times, but both remain key men for Philippe Clement at this moment in time.

According to Sky Sports reporter Mark Benstead (3 January), Wright could exit Ibrox this month, while Yagız Sabuncuoglu reported on X on

Wednesday that the Gers are still holding discussions over the possible sale of Yilmaz.

Though it seems unlikely that Clement would seek any significant roster changes at this pivotal point in the season, it does seem odd that the players

would be free to depart during the January transfer window.

The Gers are performing well across the board, and even a slight roster change might have a significant impact on how the rest of the season plays out.

In addition to their Scottish Cup and Europa League commitments, the Ibrox club has managed to narrow the distance on Celtic in the

Scottish Premiership standings with their easy victory against Hibs.
