Rangers won’t be the only ones signing a Right to Dream graduate from FC Nordsjælland this January as West Ham launch a move for Ibrahim Osman.

The Ibrox side are said to be close on a deal for 22-year-old Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Diomande,

who has spent four years with the Superliga side.

Having spent £38 million on Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus in the summer, West Ham is now seeking

to sign a second player from the Right to Dream Academy.

Ibrahim Osman, an attacker from Ghana, appears to be one of the best young players in the nation, and

the most recent reports indicate West Ham would spend big for the teenager.

Move for Ibrahim Osman by West Ham

Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that West Ham are locked in negotiations with FC

Nordsjælland over an €18m (£15.3m) transfer.

With West Ham effectively bypassing a transfer level in favor of the wide player, it’s a very tempting

transaction that highlights Ibrahim Osman’s potential.

Rangers, on the other hand, are expected to spend approximately £4.5 million for Mohamed Diomande,

with the ultimate goal being to resell the midfield player to the Premier League for a substantial profit.

Graduates of the Right to Dream Academy typically follow this path: they first join a third-tier league or

club, like FC Nordsjaelland; they then progress to a second-tier league or club, like Rangers or Ajax; and

finally, they join a top-five league or club, like the Premier League.

Given that the winger only joined the Danes 11 months ago, it is a tribute to the quality Ibrahim Osman

claims West Ham has found.

Mohamed Diomande earns Rangers Right to Dream

The Right to Dream Academy is a quite remarkable youth football project which harnesses the power of

the beautiful game to improve lives in West Africa.

Handing out 18 scholarships a year across 25k auditions, places are limited but the impact can be huge

beyond football with some players even earning scholarships in the USA.

Rangers have got their own Right to Dream Academy star en-route – Diomande’s medical reportedly

booked – and the Ivory Coast star will have his chance to leave an impression on the club.

After a run of success in Glasgow, the player would then be moved on as part of Rangers’ player trading

model.

But Ibrahim Osman is ready for the Premier League’s pressure-filled environment, as the world’s

football fans prepare to focus on the soon-to-be West Ham teenager.
