Rangers player ratings vs Hibs: Two 8/10s and a smattering of 7s as Gers make light work of Hibs

Rangers Forward Abdallah Sima celebrates scoring his sides third goal

Here are our ratings for each Rangers player’s performance in the Scottish Premiership victory over Hibs, which ended in a 3-0 victory.

Rangers easily defeated Hibs 3-0 at Easter Road, making light work of an often difficult away journey to the capital.

After 30 minutes and a goal from Ridvan Yilmaz in the first half, the Ibrox team appeared to be almost certain of victory. However, just before halftime, Todd Cantwell scored, and Jack Butland, who was excellent whenever needed, made a fantastic stop in the second half.

With around 15 minutes remaining, Cyriel Dessers, a substitute, replaced new signing Fabio Silva and scored his first goal of the season. With the victory, Philippe Clement‘s team has closed the gap on leaders Celtic to five points, but they still have a crucial game left before their weekend trip to St Mirren.
