Cristiano Ronaldo may cause Inter Miami’s preseason friendly against Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia to be canceled.
Following the postponement of Al-Nassr’s two mid-season friendlies due to Ronaldo’s injury, the 38-year-old Portuguese forward recently sparked mayhem in China.
As reported by the Sun, angry Chinese football fans stormed the team hotel after news broke that Al-Nassr had cancelled their fixtures, with Ronaldo apologising to supporters.
Furthermore, if the striker is still unable to play, there’s a chance that Inter Miami’s matchup against Ronaldo’s team next week could be called off, according to the Guardian.
In fact, Lionel Messi and company will be traveling to the Middle East in the near future to play two of Saudi Arabia’s best clubs, Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal.
However, there’s a strong possibility that Inter Miami’s matchup with Al-Nassr could be canceled next week due to Ronaldo’s fitness issues, which were severe enough to force him to miss a whole preseason tour of China.
