Rangers player agrees to go after receiving a six-figure loan fee with a £2.5 million option to sign – report

Galatasaray has made an offer to recruit Rangers’ Ridvan Yilmaz on loan, with an option to buy the

player for £2.5 million, for an initial fee of £428,000, according to Ali Naci Kucuk.

Before starting their second round of talks with Rangers, Galatasaray had already secured a deal with

Yilmaz, according to a January 22 report from a Turkish journalist.

Rangers reportedly want at least £5.1 million in order to release Yilmaz in January.

But in the upcoming days, the Turkish giants want to bargain for a cheaper price.

It looks like a move is coming.

The fact that Galatasaray is keen to sign Yilmaz before the transfer season closes suggests that

They won’t give up until the relocation is completed in January.

However, if they are unable to match Rangers’ financial criteria, the deal may fail.

The Glasgow club has no incentive to sell if their valuation is not fulfilled,

and they would like to keep Yilmaz at Ibrox for the rest of the season.

Allowing Yilmaz to leave Ibrox in the coming days would need

Rangers to bring in a replacement as cover for Borna Barisic,

or a long-term alternative to replace the Croatian,

whose contract is set to expire at the conclusion of the current season, with no new agreement on the

table.

Galatasaray will therefore have to increase their offer in order to complete this one.

however, as talks are still going on and the Turkish club is demanding a contract,

It appears highly likely that it will happen prior to the transfer window closing.
