Ivory Coast international Mohamed Diomande is expected to join Rangers later this week, in addition to forward Fabio Silva who was acquired earlier this month.
He explained: “It has been really busy. If I get a message or a call, my wife already knows who it is. It is good that it is Nils and not somebody else so that is a positive thing! It has been good.
“He and his staff put in a lot of effort day and night and are very determined. The same is true of me; sure, I always serve as the spokesperson on things, but I don’t handle everything in this building myself.
“My excellent team takes care of a lot of things for me, and Nils is no different. He is also pleased with the individuals in the building and their assistance—the analysts, scouts, and everyone else.
“We always discuss all of the developments with the board, Creag, James, the chairman, the board, and the investors in addition to our own. It is in unison with all of them.
“A lot of contact occurs. I enjoy being informed and participating in everything that is going on. Is everything going well, or is it challenging, and if so, why? I prefer to be well-informed; that is, I would like to know every detail about each player present. In order to make the best decisions, I like to be well-informed.”
