Boston Bounces Back With a 116-107 Win in Houston
The Boston Celtics defeated the Houston Rockets 116-107 on Sunday night in retaliation for their poor
Friday night loss to the Denver Nuggets.
The C’s needed this crucial victory on the first night of a back-to-back to build some momentum for their
game against Dallas on Monday.
The Celtics’ unconventional victory demonstrates the caliber of players they possess.
The team’s offensive production was led by Derrick White (21 points, 11 rebounds) and Kristaps
Porzingis (32 points, 6 rebounds) on a night when Jayson Tatum shot just 4/17 from the floor and scored
just 17 points.
Even though it wasn’t his best night to score the ball, Jaylen Brown still managed to achieve his third
triple-double of the season with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
