Rangers expected to complete new Mohamed Diomande signing within days as Four Lads drop transfer update

Four Lads Had A Dream reports that Mohamed Diomande from Nordsjaelland is almost signed by Rangers and that the deal will likely be finalized in the coming days.

The Rangers news source announced the update on January 21st, following Danish reports indicating that the transfer was nearing completion. Four Lads have since confirmed this.

The caveat that a transaction isn’t official until the player is photographed wearing the Rangers scarf was added, but they also mentioned that, if everything goes according to plan, the deal ought to be finalized in the next few days.

A fantastic new arrival at Ibrox

At just 22 years old, and having played 13 times for Nordsjaelland this season where he picked up three assists, Rangers have a real exciting talent on their hands with Diomande.

A new midfielder was high on the list of priorities at Ibrox this January as a result of the issues they have faced with squad depth, often leading to Dujon Sterling filling in outside of his usual right-back position.Although his performances were good in that role, there was no doubt a specialist player should be brought in at Ibrox, and now with the move for Diomande set to be completed in the coming days, they have finally found their main man.

With just over a week remaining to get players across the line, it appears that there will be a hectic end to the transfer window at Ibrox. Rangers are still looking for a new left-back and striker.

A player has left his training camp to write a letter, according to other Rangers news.
